Advanced High Precision Orbit Propagator
The Advanced High Precision Orbit Propagator (Advanced HPOP) is a state of the art orbit generator that accurately integrates orbits for a wide variety of Earth orbiting spacecraft as well as spacecraft orbiting other solar system bodies including asteroids and comets. It can integrate circular, elliptical, parabolic and hyperbolic orbits and includes the effects of solar radiation and third body gravitation on the orbiting spacecraft. Features

- Input and Output in either position/velocity Cartesian state vector or osculating orbital elements
- 7th-8th order Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg integration for outstanding speed and accuracy
- For non-Earth orbiting spacecraft:
- Detailed gravity models available for the Moon, Mars and Venus; other astronomical bodies are taken as point masses.
- For Earth orbiting spacecraft:
- Six gravitational models available with varying fidelities: EGM-96, GEM-10B, GEM-T3, JGM2, JGM3 and WGS84.
- Harris-Priester atmospheric model
- Input and Output reference frames:
- Mean Earth equator and equinox of J2000.
- True central-body equator and equatorial ascending node of date.
- Central body fixed/inertial.
