The Liberty Light-Lift uses 49 engines in a 7 pod, 4 stage
configuration. It will be capable of putting 2,200 lbs into LEO
at an estimated cost of $1.7 million. The low, wide configuration
is stable such that it requires no gantry or service tower and is
designed to be fueled and serviced entirely from ground level. It
is 25 ft. from the base of the vehicle to top of the 6
circumferential pods. An upper stage can be added on top of the
central (4th stage) pod if needed.
