A key characteristic of the Scorpius design is the scalable
technology that allows many of the elements to be flight tested
on smaller, lower-cost vehicles. Shown from the left are the
SR-1, single stage suborbital vehicle; the SR-2, two-stage
suborbital vehicle; the Liberty Light Lift Launcher capable of
putting 2,200 lbs in LEO; the Exodus Medium Lift launcher capable
of putting 15,000 lbs in LEO; and the Space Freighter capable of
launching 50,000 lbs. to LEO.
