Scorpius® Liberty: Light Lift Launch Vehicle

3,2100 lbs. to 100 NMi Low Earth Orbit for total launch cost of ~$5.2 million by tenth production flight.

Uses Sprite technology and approach, scaled in size by 4.

Total height = 86 ft.

Overall Diameter = 17.8 ft.

Six 53-inch diameter pods around a 53-inch diameter central core.

Three stages, six 80K lb engines for stage 1, one 80K lb engine for stage 2, one 9K lb engine for stage 3.

Simple launch operations, 8 hour launch from time of vehicle arrival on launch pad.

Liberty is designed to meet the need for low-cost, small-payload capability while verifying the technology for larger vehicles with much lower cost per pound.

Scorpius® Exodus
