Single Microcosm Scorpius 20,000 lb. (Vacuum) thrust engine, very low-cost, ablatively-cooled Pressure-fed using high performance pressurization system (HPPS).
Propellants:
Kerosene (Jet-A)/LOX in all-composite tanks.
Performance:
Up to 2,200 lbs. Payload 200 Nmi maximum altitude.
Navigation:
Commercial GPS/INS navigation unit; GPS antenna in the nosecone. Uses Scorpius flight computer and control electronics. Roll thrusters.
Launcher:
Rail-launched from a mobile Transporter-Erector- Launcher (TEL). Rail is 60 ft. long and assembled from two pieces for transportation. Hydraulic actuator for elevation angle control.
Operations:
Designed for low-cost operations. Can be assembled, erected, fueled and ready to launch within 8 hours of arrival at launch site.
Facilities:
None required. Can be launched from the mobile TEL at any location that meets safety requirements.

Target and sounding rocket missions.
280 NMi range with 660lbm payload.
Sprite Mini-Lift vehicle uses same components:
- 90% parts commonality with Sprite stage 1 and 2 pods.
- Cost savings, builds maturity.
- SR-M used for Sprite upper stage flight tests.
